Generation Z represents the generation born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s [Hidayat et al., 2023]. It is rewriting the rules of the workforce with their unique characteristics and preferences. What is Generation Z?

Generation Z (abbreviated as Gen Z), is generally defined by most researchers as birth years ranging from the mid-1990s to the early 2010s [Hidayat et al., 2023] [Hathaway et al., 2022].

Among the prominent influences are the great 2008 Economic Recession and COVID-19.  These major events affected dramatically the values and behavior of Gen Z.
